The French are known for producing some of the best cuisine in the world and that even includes sushi... Well, at least that's the case at Sushi Tom!
The fish served here is sourced fresh from the market itself so you're sure to get the best cuts of premium fish and almost everything served is homemade by the owner/chef Frank, even the pickled ginger slices that aren't those nasty fake pink ones that you get served in other restaurants all the time.
There's something on the menu for everyone so if you're feeling not quite down for some raw fish the morning after a big night out on town, the Japan Burger is a must. It comes in either beef or tuna but honestly you can't go past the tuna. Cooked rare, it melts in your mouth and goes so well with the pillowy soft artisanal bread buns and sweet potato fries (again, homemade)!
The prices are really a bargain for the quality of the food here and you can't leave Bordeaux without trying this place... At least once!
